ThePlayboy Bunny Ranchbecame famous as the place where Hugh Hefner’s favorite cotton-tailed ladies lived in luxury.
The 6,690-square-foot property was listed for $19.9 million in 2017, and on Thursday’s episode ofMillion Dollar Listing: Los Angeles, real estate agents James Harris and David Parnes attempt to sell the “piece of history” to Parnes’s brother.
Hefner let go of the ranch back in 2001 for $4.5 million, theNew York Postreports, and the home reportedly returned to the market in 2013 asking $11 million.
According to the realtors, a neighbor purchased the 1.3 acre property a decade ago because he didn’t want any construction to occur there, but he didn’t do any renovations or updates to the property, leaving it practically abandoned.
“Yeah it’s got some great memories and fun stories, and s— I wish I was there for a few of them,” Harris says in a clip from the upcoming episode (top). “The property is only worth the land value which, in my opinion is 18 to 20 million dollars.”

As Harris puts it, the 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom abode has some “questionable design choices” including blue flamingo curtains with a turquoise valence, juxtaposed against a bright orange wall.
Other rooms in the home are painted various bright colors and the “grotto” outside, which once served as the area where Bunnies and Playmates would have pool parties, has been drained and covered in netting.

Parnes tries to convince his brother to purchase the home along with the neighboring 1.7-acre property, which features the home that provided the backdrop for the 1981 filmMommie Dearest.Parnes explains that the homes share the entire property line, and could be combined into a 3-acre lot with a sale price of $42 million.
He estimates that after renovations and combining the homes into one 60,000-square-foot mansion, the property could be valued at $200 million.
In April 2017, theMommie Dearesthousereportedly soldto an unidentified buyer, and later that year, in September, the ranchsoldfor $17.25 million. Parnes, Harris and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency represented the buyer.
Hefner sold the Playboy Mansion toDaren Metropoulos, who is the heir to the Hostess foods fortune, in 2016 for $100 million, and reportedly paid $1 million annually to live there until hepassed awayin September 2017 at the age of 91.
