Drew Scott and Linda Phan are ready to expand their family — and soon!
TheProperty Brothersstar, 41, and hiswife of nearly two years, 34, opened to PEOPLE about their desire to have children, even if it means slowing down a little.
“I think it’s spending less time working and more time with ourselves. If we’re always on the road filming, it’s really tough to grow a family,” Drew says in this week’s issue.
And Drew is confident Linda, who is the creative director of Scott Brothers Global, is up for the job. “I know Linda is going to be an amazing mom, and I hope I’ll be a great dad.”

Shortly after theirMay 2018 wedding in Italy, he told PEOPLE, “We’re excited to have kids. I think Linda and I will be great parents, and we’re excited to start that chapter of our lives.”
Jonathan also seems more than a little excited for his prospective uncle duties, asking his twin in their cover story interview, “Are you saying that 2020 is the year of the babies?”

Drew hedges just a bit. “Well, I’m not saying we have one ready to go, but hopefully soon! I think very soon you’ll see us announcing to the world.”
He also can’t help but wonder who their future kids will take after. “I wonder if they’ll have my height or Linda’s looks.”
Interjects Jonathan, “Hopefully definitely Linda’s looks! And that’s coming from a guy who looks like you.”
