To say the last few months forOffsetandCardi Bhave been busy would be an understatement.
With Cardi’sbig Grammy winin January to the release of Offset’s solo albumFather of 4in February, the couple, whotied the knotin 2017, hardly get a break.
“My wife and I make sure we’re always around our daughter. It’s about time. Time is more important than money.”
Offset also has three children — Jordan, Kody and Kalea — from previous relationships.
In addition to being a father, a lot has changed for Offset since he,QuavoandTakeoffreleased their breakout hit “Versace” in 2013.
“You don’t have as much privacy as you want,” Offset says of being famous and having eyes on him at all times.
However, Offset admits there is an upside to living life in the spotlight.

“The good thing is I get to motivate young kids. We’re a big influence. I recently met a fan at a meet-and-greet in Denver and he got my face tattooed on his arm,” Offset recounts.
For the Atlanta-born rapper, connecting with fans is what it’s all about, which makes his halftime performance all the more exciting.
“I always went to school with basketball players who were on the team, so it’s cool to see. We’re for the culture. We’re for the youth. A lot of these guys use our music to get ready and stay motivated,” Offset explains.
As if Offset’s plate could get any fuller, the Migos are gearing up to release their highly anticipated albumCulture III.
“We’re whipping it up. It’ll be 2020. We’re coming with the bang bang. I want the album to be the best so that’s going to take a little more time,” Offset says.
In addition to his career and parental duties, Offset appears to be in a good place with wife Cardi after the twobriefly splitin December.
On Wednesday, Offsetshared a sweet photoof himself carrying Cardi on his back as she flashes a wide smile at the camera.
“RIDE OR DIE FOREVER LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHATS GOING ON I LOVE YOU BEST MOTHER AND HUSTLER I KNOW,” Offset captioned the shot.
Last week, the Atlanta-born rapper opened up about his controversial decision tocrash Cardi’s concert stageand beg his wife for forgiveness following theirbrief splitlast year.
“I love my wife, so it’s serious — it’s not a game to me,” OffsetsaidonThe Ellen DeGeneres Show, explaining to hostEllen DeGenereswhy he chose to go public with his apology to Cardi.
“We have schedules and we have shows and I just felt like … I can’t give that break between time, so it’s my forefront, I step to it as a man to say I’m wrong,” he said. “I step to it as a man, and you don’t have to take me back but I just want you to know I love you and I care and I’m putting it all out on the table.”
During one of Cardi’s concerts in December, stagehands rolled out boxes of roses that spelled out “Take Me Back Cardi,” before Offset appeared, carrying a bouquet of white flowers. The “Take Me Back Cardi” flower arrangement fromVenus ET Fleurwas worth $15,000, the company later confirmed to PEOPLE.


Offset then proclaimed “in front of the world, I love you” into a microphone.
Fans criticized the rapper for the public stunt, but Offset addressed hismove on social mediaat the time, tweeting, “All of my wrongs have been made public, I figure it’s only right that my apologies are made public too.”
In January,PEOPLE confirmedOffset and Cardi were back together.
