The “Party in the U.S.A.” singer continued to sharesentimental photosfrom herintimate December weddingtoLiam Hemsworthover the weekend, including a few never-before-seen images highlighting the 26-year-old pop star’s playful side.
In the shots, Miley — a noted marijuana enthusiast, who recently said shestarted smoking weed again— held up her floral bouquet to her face with one hand, using her other tomime lighting the greenery. She also kept the antics going in two more snapshots, one of which had Miley striking aNSFW posewith her flowers.
As fun as it was for Miley, Tish wasn’t laughing.
As Miley explained in the caption to a sweet shot with her mom on Sunday, “My mama told me this bouquet is for holding and traditions sake…. not eating …. or smoking….. or using as a metaphorical ‘penis’ / unicorn horn but …. I did it anyway.”
“Sorry mom,” Miley added.
Though Tish didn’t want Miley to use her bouquet as a joint, she clearly has no problem with marijuana.
“Yes!” the country crooner, 57, wrote alongside the photo. “Like I said yesterday @TishCyrus…. my how the times they are a changing #CrAzYMaMa.”
The picture got both in some hot water online, as critics pointed to it asan example of white privilege. “Meanwhile minorities are being thrown into jail for this,” one said on Instagram, reminding the Cyruses that people of color are often incarcerated for possessing far less quantities of the drug.
“Wow. It must feel great to be white,” said another on Twitter.
Tish later clarified on Instagram that the stash wasn’t hers — though she wished it was.
“First of all … my husband @billyraycyrus is INSANE,” she wrote. “Second, this picture is also insane, and third this is NOT my weed or my house. Hahah. But if it was, that would be amazing for so many reasons!”
Miley and Hemsworth tied the knot in a secret ceremony in December. The couple first met 10 years prior, while working together on the set ofThe Last Song.
In honor of their first Valentine’s Day together as a married couple, Miley shared a handful of touching photos on her social media accounts on Thursday.
“My Valentine every single day,” Miley captioned thefirst black-and-white photo, which shows her and the actor, 29, snuggling up at their wedding.
In the caption of the next black-and-white photo, which features the couple standing and hugging with their faces turned away from the camera, Miley went on to thank her new husband formaking their height-difference work, as he’s 6 feet 3 inches tall and she’s 5 feet 5 inches.
“Thank you for always bending down to hug me … I promise I will always meet you in the middle on my tippiest toes! I love you Valentine!” she wrote.
