Luann de Lessepsis in a good place.
TheReal Housewives of New York Citystar confirmed that her first husband had alawsuit filed against her over an $8 million house sale. She appeared onWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenon Wednesday to state that her first husband Alexandre de Lesseps, and their children, Victoria and Noel, dropped the lawsuit.
She added that “everything’s great with my kids. I’m happy.”
In the divorce judgment, Alexandre was ordered to give Luann the deed to the couple’s Bridgehampton, New York, residence. She agreed to create a trust for her two children. Luann was also required to “fund the trust with an undivided one-half interest in and to the marital residence,” the documents stated.
But that trust was “never created,” the lawsuit alleged. Instead, Luann sold the residence in November 2014 for $8 million and used the money to purchase a home in Sag Harbor, New York, for $3.1 million, which she then intended to flip so she could buy a luxury home in upstate New York.
The documents alleged that Luann had “never, since her purchase of the premises, created the trust or conveyed to her children, in trust, an undivided one-half interest in the premises.” The lawsuit was filed in an attempt to block Luann from selling her Sag Harbor home.
OnWWHL, Luann confirmed that the family would collectively be using the home in upstate New York, as well as the house in Sag Harbor.
“We’ll all be using all of our houses,” she said. “All together!”
Speaking to PEOPLE last September, Luann said she agreed not to sell her home in Sag Harbor and that “things between my kids and I are going great.”
“I’m keeping my house in the Hamptons, so that took the heat off,” she said. “And I also purchased a home upstate — a smaller one that I love.”
She added that she was confident the case would soon be dropped, saying, “We’ll work things out.”
