Justin Bieberand Hailey Baldwin want to make sure their wedding ceremony is one for the history books!
The couple, whosecretly exchanged vows at a civil courthouse ceremonyin September, are still finalizing the details for a religious ceremony and reception — and they currently have their sights set on a destination wedding!
“Justin and Hailey both love tropical destinations. They are currently looking into options for a tropical wedding,” a Bieber source tells PEOPLE.
Although it initially looked like the couple were eyeing a winter bash, “it seems it will happen in April, or May instead,” the source shares.

“Although they are already married, they both want their wedding to be perfect,” the insider adds. “Hailey is working closely with their planner and figuring everything out. She is very excited to plan her wedding.”
While there are many locales around the world the happy couple could choose, the pop star, 24, may have his sights set on one tropical location, which has already gotten theseal of approvalfrom one of the couple’s pals.

In one Instagram post, which featured palm trees and sparkling blue water, Jenner wrote, “don’t ever wanna leave.”
“Wow luckywhere’s the invite to hails and i,” Bieber wrote, to which Jenner replied, “lolll you love birds can comenext time.”
A source previously told PEOPLE that while the couple are eager to celebrate their wedding with family and friends, “there’sno real rush.”

Even though the couple have yet to set a date, their family members can’t stop gushing over how well-suited the pair are for each other.
“They’re perfect for each other becausethey’re like the same person,” Hailey’s cousin Ireland Baldwin, 23, told PEOPLE earlier this month. “They’re both really sweet. They complement each other. They’re both every loving of each other.”
Ireland also explained that the young couple is also experiencing life at the same speed.
“They’re going through the same struggles, I feel like, and they are just helping each other out. As life goes, we all go,” Baldwin said of her cousin.
Bieber’s mother,Pattie Mallette, has also been singing the 22-year-old model’s praises.
Earlier this month, Mallette, 43, shared a sweet selfie of herself with Baldwin, captioning the image, “What a gift!”
“Love you,” Baldwin replied.
