Jonathan Majors' latest film officially has a release date.
The 35-year-old actor stars as Killian Maddox,an amateur bodybuilder struggling with his mental and physical health as he vies to reach champion status.
Magazine Dreamsdebuted at the Sundance Film Festival last year. It also stars Haley Bennett, Taylour Paige, Mike O’Hearn, Harrison Page and Harriet Sansom Harris.

Last January, the initial distributor, Searchlight Pictures,returned the rights to its filmmakersafter Majors was convicted onmisdemeanor charges of assault and harassmentthe month before.
The charges stemmed from a March 2023 incident with Majors' ex, Grace Jabbari, who accused him of physically assaulting him during a dispute in New York City. After his conviction, he was sentenced toparticipatein a domestic violence treatment program.

“We’re glad this case has been resolved and this chapter is closed so that Grace can now move forward and begin to heal,” Jabbari’s attorney Brad Edwards said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.
Also in November, Major and actress Meagan Goodconfirmed their engagementafter first being linked in May of 2023.“It’s a season of joy,” Majors told PEOPLE exclusively at the EBONY Power 100 on Sunday, Nov. 17.
