CNS news program tracked down Earnhardt to ask him what he thought of electric car , specificially theChevy Volt . Here ’s what he order :
“ I think that the Chevy Volt ’s a good product . I think that the consumers need to empathise how unmanageable it is to produce a car with the monetary standard that they have , with the guideline that they have today , that can in reality do what the consumer want and what the consumer expects . ”
“ The technology is n’t there yet really to provide the consumer with something that can go a fiddling bit further than that [ in milage ] and do a little flake better job with that , ” said Earnhardt . “ But as the applied science gets good , battery and such thing like that get dependable to where they can be more heavily charged and the fuel consumption rate can be a little flake longer . ”
Thanks , Dale ! In short , Dale like electric cars , but HATES pesky regulation and push shortsighted distances . He ’s like a bizarro Al Gore . [ CNS ]
