We do n’t need our vampires to go full blown 30 Days of Night to be frightening . The great appealingness to lamia is that they are both aphrodisiacal and dangerous ( think Interview With the Vampire ) . But lately , prickteaser have either been aphrodisiacal , stupid , or ghastly .
So it ’s cracking that this raw Fright Night depend like it could restore the proportion of vampire classics like The Hunger . Colin Farrell look great as lamia Jerry , and we ca n’t hold back to see more ofDavid Tennantas the “ Peter Vincent ” part from the original , now upgraded to a Criss Angel - type magician .
