Barbie went green witha new doll modeledafterDr. Jane Goodall, which Mattel released on July 12, 2022, ahead of World Chimpanzee Day. According to the company, Goodall’s Barbie doll is made of 90 percent recycled plastic that otherwise would have been bound for the ocean.
