Your phone is belike full of apps . And that ’s nifty ! Apps are fun ! But having a million of ’em is less fun when you need to get to a specific one , and right straightaway . A new Android app called Cover ’s got your back though , and canturn your lockscreen into a simple menu of only what you need mightily now .
Cover does its legerdemain by learning where you hold out and where you work , and then keeping rails of what apps you use at home , at the office , and in between . Then , it shows you its idea of your best-loved apps right on your lockscreen . Even better , it lets you unlock to whatever app you need , or even peek behind the lockscreen curtain to see what ’s break down on back there , pull the lockscreen back just far enough to get a look at a sliver of the app , before let it descend the right way back into place .
Sound conversant ? It is . This “ phone that knows what you want ” idea is very pop right now . You may rememberAviatefrom a few week back , operate on the same basic construct . Or any number ofother variations on the theme .

But Cover is deserving nothing though for a three reasons : it ’s simple , pretty , and good . Cover just set some apps on your lockscreen , that ’s it . The rest of your phone last out just how you like it .
We get to play with Cover a little bit before release . Not quite long enough for it to learn wholly , but it looks pretty hopeful . The downside is that Cover ’s forecasting are always robotlike , and it does n’t seem like you could just tell it what you want . But Cover ’s dev tells us that an selection to change this should be coming in the time to come . All in all , it ’s one of the impertinent applications of this melodic theme we ’ve consider .

So if that sound like something you ’d need to check out , you may sign up for the beta over atCover ’s homepage .
