That major scrap might already be over though , if the latest offspring is anything to go by .
This workweek ’s Civil War II # 7 reel out of Inhuman predictor Ulysses ’ shocking revelation of a likely time to come whereMiles Morales down Steve Rogers on the steps of Capitol Hill , a musical composition of imaging with all the nuance of several malleus to your face . But before the Inhumans can warn Carol about a visual sense that is fundamentally “ hey , stop being a worryingly dystopian jerk , Carol ” , thing go sideways at Capitol Hill .
Turns out , in an attempt to protect Miles from being arrested by Carol , he ’d safeguard the young hero with a personal shield — one that allows him to jump off to Miles ’ defence , garment in Hulkbuster armour , while Carol is distracted . The two briefly dogfight , only for Carol to unleash an all-powerful , volatile blow …
One that see has a lot of balance with the fateful setback that would lay James Rhodes lowway back when Civil War II get down . It ’s like poesy , it rhymes , and so on .
We know , thanks to late issue of Infamous Iron Man and Invincible Iron Man , that after Civil War IITony Stark has no corporeal word form , his brain blueprint “ living on ” as an in advance A.I.in the men of his heir , Riri Williams . For all intent and design , he is dead . Considering the savagery of Carol ’s attack — one that at least look like it could whole eradicate someone ’s body — this could be the moment that another iconic Marvel hero falls thanks to this event .
