Developers signing on to the iPhone SDK computer program are nowexpressly forbiddenfrom writing iPhone apps that can be installed via break , or any software for any Apple technology that mess up with security or DRM .

You will not , through utilization of the Apple Software , service or otherwise , make any coating or other program that would incapacitate , hack on or otherwise intervene with the Security Solution , or any security , digital signing , digital rights direction , verification or authentication mechanism put through in or by the iPhone operating organization package , iPod soupcon operating system software package , this Apple Software , any services or other Apple software or technology , or enable others to do so …
It also says that anyone using the SDK to develop software system can then only get distribution through the App Store , and at Apple ’s sole discretion . As Ars points out , it ’s not expire to dry up jailbreakers , but it will make those gray domain developers a little more skeered of swerving from the path . [ Ars Technica ]
