Amy Poehlersurprised fans with a song to say farewell to 2023.
The comedian sang along tothe Beatleshit “Yesterday"in a TikTok video on Thursday, with piano accompaniment thanks to the gentleman she stitched her video with.
“Favorite melancholy song for favorite melancholy week,” she captioned the video, in which she was wearing black-rimmed glasses and a festive green sweater.

“Will prob delete,” theParks and Recreationstar replied to a user who said they were “living” for her content.
Poehler postedanother video on Thursdaythanking content creators and her followers on the platform.

“I just wanted to say thank you for getting me through life over the past couple of years,” she said in the video, while walking outside. She admitted she was trying to practice being “vulnerable and grateful in real-time.”
“I have seen so much deeply funny, thought-provoking and sensitive, vulnerable stuff here,” Poehler continued, before pausing. “You know, I’m trying not to hide right now behind being cool and funny. And man, it’s hard ‘cause it comes so naturally to me. But genuinely, I just wanted to express my gratitude.”
“If you want people to know you, you have to show them who you are,” the 52-year-old said before wishing her followers a good end to 2023.
“Let’s end this year right,” she concluded.
This year, Poehler stepped into relatively new territory when she released and starred in the scripted podcastSay More with Dr? Sheilawith her friendLiz Cackowski.
Poehler plays Dr? Sheila on the series, a fictional couples therapist and life coach who gives terrible advice. She got to do improv comedy with friends likeMaya Rudolph,Tina FeyandIke Barinholtz, who guest-starred on the show as patients.

As for what she learned while doing the series,Poehler told PEOPLEexclusively in September,
“Unfortunately, as much as I would like to think that I am a licensed therapist, I’m so deeply not,” she said.
