Amazonsent a missive to some of its employees this week offering a buyout program if they voluntarily reconcile . The marriage proposal is a “ voluntary severing ” that would render employee with three month ’ pay if they select to leave the company amidst mass layoffs at the company .
The company said employee will receive the three month ’ pay as a “ lump total ” plus one week ’s pay for every six calendar month of incumbency they worked at the company , concord to interior company documents obtained byCNBC .
If the employee agree to take voluntary severance , they will also pick up wellness insurance benefits through the end of December and a weekly stipend over 12 week . It ’s being report they ’ll have until November 29 to make a decision but will be able to disengage their decision to vacate by December 5 .

Amazon also reportedly says in the documents they will inform employee once their surrender is accepted and their exercise with the company will end on December 23 .
