Never-before-seen footage ofAlec Baldwinon the set ofRust, taken days beforethe fatal shooting ofcinematographerHalyna Hutchins, has been released.
At one point, Baldwin is shown lying on the ground and says to someone behind the camera, “Now wait a second, I’m gonna shoot right — do you wanna go on the other side of the camera? Idon’t wanna shoot toward you.”
“I don’t know why you’re going up hills and all this other — you’re gonna break your f—in' neck,” the actor says in another bit of footage, speaking once again to an off-camera individual.

Baldwin, the star and producer ofRust, was on the New Mexico set of the Western in October 2021 when a prop gun he was holding discharged, killing Hutchins, 42, and injuring directorJoel Souza.
The actor has said he did not know the gun mistakenly contained a live bullet, and said he did not pull the trigger.
After a lengthy investigation, prosecutors accused Baldwin of “extremely reckless acts” when they charged him and movie armorerHannah Gutierrez-Reedon Jan. 31, 2023. Gutierrez-Reed, whohas pled not guilty, is set to stand trial in February.
Special prosecutors in New Mexico announced last month they intend topresent a Santa Fe grand jury their case against Baldwin, whom they believe to be responsible for the fatal shooting of Hutchins and injury of Souza, 50, on set.

If convicted, theEmmy-winning actor could face up to 18 months in prison.
“After extensive investigation over the past several months, additional facts have come to light that we believe show Mr. Baldwin has criminal culpability inthe death of Halyna Hutchinsand the shooting of Joel Souza,” said Special Prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis.
“We believe the appropriate course of action is to permit a panel of New Mexico citizens to determine from here whether Mr. Baldwin should be held over for criminal trial.”
Baldwin’s attorneys Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro of Quinn Emanuel told PEOPLE in October, “It is unfortunate that a terrible tragedy has been turned into this misguided prosecution. We will answer any charges in court.”
Morrissey and Lewisdismissed an involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwinin April, citing “new facts” in the case. But they said at the time they reserved the right to re-charge him.
