ABC Family clearly has no idea what Batman is

It ’s arduous to imagine , given Batman ’s popularity and ubiquity over the last 80 years , that someone would not know the canonic concept behind the caped reformer . And yet , not only do some hoi polloi not bonk what Batman is all about , those mass obviously all work in ABC Family ’s promo section , which made the above commercial for their premiere of Batman Begins .

In ABC ’s defense , I guess Batman does “ contend for family ” in the sense he ’s fighting , indirectly , on behalf of his dead family , although it ’s still kind of misleading . But he “ lives for love ” ? If by “ love ” you mean “ love of pall the shit out of outlaw , ” mayhap .
